Dr. Degieux is the proud owner of Penacook Family Dentistry. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Degieux joined the United States Air Force, where she provided dental care to the active military personnel and their families within the military community overseas.
Dr. Degieux is a long-time member of the American Dental Association and the New Hampshire Dental Society, and offers a wide-range of dental services to her patients with experience in restorative, cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry procedures including implants, dentures and is certified in Invisalign treatment.
Dr. Degieux is an excellent choice when seeking a dentist for the entire family! She has exceptional patience with children and an unrivaled ability to comfort all of her patients, even those who are not too excited about receiving dental treatment of any kind.
Dr. Degieux speaks multiple languages and enjoys spending quality time with her family when she is not treating her patients.
Dr. Maxfield grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts and attended Northeastern University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1975. He received his doctoral D.M.D. degree in 1979 from the prominent University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After 9 years of active duty in the United States Army as a general dentist, Dr. Maxfield returned to civilian life and completed a residency in periodontology at the prestigious Harvard University of Dental Medicine in 1990.
Dr. Amy Rust, D.M.D.
Dr. Amy Rust completed her pre-medical studies at the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Science, a minor in Music, and University Honors. She was an active member of the UNH Pre-Dental Society and was a saxophonist and drum major in the Wildcat Marching Band. As a senior, she researched “Infective Endocarditis and Its Role in Dentistry” and presented her findings at the UNH Research Symposium.
In May 2017, Dr. Rust graduated from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, as part of its inaugural class. During her four years at UNE, she was a council member for the dental school’s American Student Dental Association chapter and was the Chief Editor of the dental class’s first ever yearbook. As part of her clinical experience, Dr. Rust completed a three-month externship at Mid-State Health Center in Bristol, NH. She also participated in a two-week rotation at a pediatric dental clinic associated with in Portland, ME.
Dr. Rust is licensed to practice General Dentistry in the state of New Hampshire. Committed to staying current with the latest materials and techniques, she attends a variety of continuing education courses and dental conventions, such as the Yankee Dental Congress held annually in Boston. Dr. Rust is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Hampshire Dental Society, and the American Dental Education Association.
Dr. Amy Rust (formerly Dr. Amy Landry) was recently married in September 2019. She is originally from Salem, NH, but currently resides in Auburn, NH, with her husband, Bill. In her free time, Dr. Rust enjoys hiking, bicycling, drawing, painting, and spending time with her friends and family.
